The Izolyator Group’s project won a prize at the BRICS contest

From 14 to 16 November 2023, the final of the BRICS Industrial Innovation Contest was held in China, at which the Innovative solid insulated HV bushings project of the Izolyator Group took third place in the thematic area of Green Development.

The BRICS Industrial Innovation Contest aims to create a platform to showcase outstanding projects, promote fair competition and exchange best practice among BRICS members in order to create an favorable environment for industrial innovation and experience sharing. The event has been held at the initiative of the Advisory Group of the Partnership on New Industrial Revolution every year since 2021. The projects submitted to the competition are assessed by an expert committee consisting of industry and innovation management specialists or professionals with extensive experience (more than eight years) in areas related to the new industrial revolution. The organizer of the competition is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China. The BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution (PartNIR), established in 2018, aims to deepen BRICS cooperation in digitization, industrialization, innovation, inclusiveness, and investment.

The Area Manager of the Commercial Service Ivan Mikoyan, the Leading Specialist of the Supplier Relations department Elena Mikhailina and the PR & Communications department most actively engaged in the preparation and execution of the project of the Izolyator Group for its submission to the contest.

In accordance with this year's competition’s topic Deepening PartNIR Cooperation for New Industrialization, projects were assessed in three areas: Industrial Internet, Intelligent Manufacturing, and Green Development.

A total of 1,346 projects were submitted to the competition, of which 90 made it to the finals — 30 for each thematic area.

Projects of BRICS members with outstanding innovative capabilities, applied effect and market prospects were selected to the finals of the contest by the expert committee eventually.

The winners of the BRICS Industrial Innovation Contest were announced on November 16 at the BRICS Forum on Partnership on New Industrial Revolution — 2023 in Xiamen in China.
